THE OLD QUARTER
Magistrate’s Court building

The most emblematic feature of this building is the gothic window, as this style cannot be found in any other building in Benicarló, except for a rose window in the Madres Concepcionistas Convent.
This old building on two floors is typical of the bourgeoisie from the end of the eighteenth and beginning of the nineteenth centuries. This municipally owned building has had many uses throughout its long history, although the most well-known is that of a town library up until three years ago.
