Christmas Festivals

At such a special time as Christmas and Three Kings, there are lots of recreational activities for locals and visitors in the town of Benicarló.
Making the most of the long weekend in the first week of December is the Christmas Market, which is the perfect opportunity to buy gifts from local traders.
One of the most eagerly awaited moments is the ‘L’Estel del Collet’, Christmas in Benicarló. More than two hours of acting helps us to find out about lots of typical characters from the town who want to uncover the history and heritage of Benicarló.
Over this period you can also do the Benicarló nativity scene route, with more than twenty nativity scenes of all kinds from the most traditional to the most modern.
We must not forget Benicarlandia, which is for the younger ones and is a Christmas park with all kinds of activities for children, as well as parades with Father Christmas and the magic Three Kings parade. For the not so small there is the New Year’s Eve celebration when the clock strikes twelve or the Three Kings Cake dance with a band so that we can dance the whole night long.
Another of the most important events, and the oldest in the Valencian region, is the traditional San Silvestre race to bid farewell to the year.
