Central Market

Between Pío XII Street and the Market square is Benicarló Town Market. It is rectangular, with four doors, one on each wall of the building. It has a surface area of 1,431m2 and a total of 36 stalls.
The market is renowned for giving personal attention to customers, and has a wide range of quality products on offer, like artichokes from Benicarló with a Denomination of Origin quality seal, local fish and shellfish which is brought directly from fishing boats in the harbour, fresh and cured meats, bread and pastries made here in Benicarló.
The Market also has stalls for pulses, salted meats and canned foods as well as a florist. To make your shopping trip to Benicarló Market more enjoyable there are also two recently reformed cafés.
The Market is open from Monday to Friday both mornings and afternoons and on Saturday morning.
